The rules under the surface
Liquid after a cycle: floor(liquid × (1 - r)). Held stays unchanged. The rate satisfies 0 ≤ r < 1.
Each liquid balance is floored per cycle in atomic units. For positive supply, all position fractions sum to one. Zero supply is an empty state with no defined fraction.
Staking and unstaking keep the same token count at that instant.
Residue is destroyed and credited to nobody.
What ownership means
Nobody is paid anything and no new tokens are made. Total supply only falls as loose EBB ebbs away.
Staking or unstaking never changes your number at that moment. It changes whether your EBB thins in later cycles.
EBB · Elastic Bonded Balance
Elastic: a rebase token whose supply changes each cycle; bonded: staked in the vault; balance: the number that does not move.
The rate, cycle length, pre-stake target, unstake fee and treatment of the trading pool are unpublished until launch.
